No, there has never, ever been a sandbox game with a story or ending... except Grand Theft Auto... and Saints Row... and Red Dead Redemption... and Crack Down... and Assassins Creed...
Why does everyone hate terraria? If anything, it's BETTER than Minecraft. and in reality, it's nothing like Minecraft. You have MORE bosses, NPC'S THAT ARE ACTUALLY USEFUL (I'm looking at you Testificates >.>), and So many cool things. It has epic looking armor, epic defensive armor (kind of the same thing, really, good looking armor is usually better in Terraria anyways), it gets updates, just like Minecraft, it has epic weapons, like Rockets, you can get wings and fly for pete's sake.
Now that my rant on why Terraria ISN'T terrible or a MInecraft rip-off, I'd say the worst game I've ever played is... well, I'm gonna get a lot of hate for this.. but Call of duty, Assassins Creed (Not to sure about this, never actually played it... DON'T JUDGE), and well.. a lot of M rated games. I frankly don't like them that much. I'm not saying things like Elder Scrolls is bad, most of them I just haven't played. So uh, yeah. Please Terraria haters don't ignore the rant above D:
Definitely Pokemon Pearl for me. And before you hate me for it let me explain: I have played Pokemon Red, and Fire Red, it had good music and Pokemon Designs (They were the original Pokemon!), Pokemon Crystal (Nice graphics, had some great designs too, and an epic soundtrack, along with very VERY expansive gameplay), and Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire
Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire HANDS DOWN had the best soundtrack, some awesome Pokemon designs (possibly better than the previous gens), and while it didn't have the most gameplay, it's soundtrack, and extra legendaries more than made up for it!
You can probably imagine, that I was very excited for Diamond and Pearl, and I was. I was expecting some epic music, some cool new Pokemon, and other stuff. What I got was quite the opposite! Instead I got a HORRIBLY generic OST, some TERRIBLE Pokemon designs, and, frustratingly hard difficulty levels. It didn't matter if I ran into one of the few Pokemon in the game, that isn't ugly, or weird looking (I'm looking at you Bidoof). Because almost EVERY Pokemon in the game had a new awkward cry, and animation.
Pokemon Pearl is not only the worst game I have ever played, it's also the most disappointing game I have ever played, and possibly the most frustrating game I have ever played. Where could Game Freak go so wrong? How the $% did that game get such positive reviews? I may never know...
Club Penguin. I honestly have no idea how I managed to enjoy that game for a year as a kid. My god, what terrible taste I had back then.
After the legions of other craptastic games I used to play (Roblox, Webkinz, etc... my god why did I ever pick up those money-devouring pieces of crap) I'd have to say that Pokemon Black is the worst (once again this is after everything that I would put on the "So Bad It's Horrible" page of TVTropes or is intended for small children). Unlike the previous games, the game was rather linear and had a meager endgame, both of which IMO are things Pokemon games should do pretty well with. Pokemon designs were also pretty mediocre but I don't care too much about those.

Well, I can agree with you... on the worst pokemon game, but not game. I frankly wish they made the 4th gen better...ish. At least the storyline and stuff, pretty boring. But I don't really mind the designs. Pokemon X and Y FTW though
All Sport games: WHY!? Just why? Why do people make sport games, if i want to play football i go out and play football.
Sport games are one of the worst games ever.
All FPS games: Point and shoot, theres nothing more to it, THATS THE WHOLE GAME.
World of Warcraft: "Oh, my keyboard and mouse just ran out of buttons" Aaaand theres WoW in a nutshell.
SIM Date games: Im not going to even start about how pathetic you need to be to play these...
Batten Kaitos(GC): It's just.... How can i describe it... Well ill just say that if you do not like to play card games on console, dont buy this one. It's Horrible to say atleast.
Rainbow Six: Lock Down(GC): It's not that it's hard, but the sensitivity on this game is TOO HIGH, you try to move just an inch to right, NOPE LETS RUN TO THE OTHER SIDE OF THE ROOM! And same with the Gun, it feels like im trying to handle an pencil like an 30kg sledgehammer
Gran Turismo(PS1): Legendary game, i admit it. But theres one thing i hate at it. The opponents seem to go 150mph faster than you, even though they would be driving some old renault megane and you had an 700hp nissan 300ZX! It's ridiculous how the game "Balances" the races like that.
Right now im tired and dont remember all the games and genres i hate and despise, but i have a list some where.
Finally someone else in this world who hates FPS games.

This same logic can be applied to any genre, for example:
RPG: Just lots of numbers accompanied by bad Lord of the Rings fan-fic.
Platformer: Nothing but jumping on platforms, where's the fun in that?
Adventure games: Why not just read a book.
Sandbox: There's nothing to do.
Stealth: Why hide from bad guys when I can kill them?
Beat 'em up: Just like shooters except with unnecessary added stuff.
Racing: Why not just drive a real car?
RTS: They're all to complicated.
Obviously this is sarcasm in case anyone didn't get it, every genre has its appeal.

Roleplay characters:
Death (me)
War
Pestilence
Famine
You mean this game?
Did I miss a page?
Ok. There is a door to your left that says EXIT. Leave and just go sit outside in the sewers
or something.
You were wrong.
Marky mark make my video. Will I have to supply the gun?
My desktop background begs to differ.

Praise be to Spode.
Just noticed somebody else posted the same, oh well.

20-Base Number system for the win.
