There is no end...it just goes on forever and ever. I don't see this as being the launchpad for anything magnificent, to be honest. It could make like Minecraft and implement some traditional factions gameplay so there's actually a point to playing the game, but as it stands it just isn't worth the asking price. Overhyped title, just get it after the features start rolling in and (hopefully) the creator comes to his senses and lowers the pricetag. And maybe re-evaluate his fascist stance towards modding as well.
So there's not really any endgame content yet? And I don't get the modding thing either. For a game like Cube World, modding could seriously help the game's replayability. Right now I'm just keeping an eye on it.

It is rinse and repeat right now. Wollay could potentially make it great if all areas from skill trees to mission system is improved. Or of course a modding community.
YOU HAVE JUST READ MY MIND! Portal 2 is a great game for co-op and is actually and exclusive in steam! There are many co-op games though like Garry's Mod and Team Fortress 2 in steam, and Garry's Mod especially for meeting the sandbox requirement! And how can I forget! Terraria! That's a great co-op sandbox and please referr to my topic for that game. And also, I'm pretty sure Don't Starve is on steam, not sure if. It meets any requirements but its a really good game!
The funny thing is I own all of those games expect Don't Starve, which is not co-op, and portal two is on the Xbox for me and is not technically a sandbox, it just has a mapmaker and a steam workshop.

Try the war z, now Infestation: Survivor Stories! Only $15 and totally worth it. But don't buy a trial account, those are usually hacked because of keyloggers.
I myself do prefer PC over consoles. I am planning on getting a PS4 because my brother is a console type person.
I've been playing torchlight 2 demo lately, I must ask if the game is really worth the 20 bucks or should I try out the dungeon defenders demo?
Try the Dungeon Defenders demo. Even if the game isn't great the demo is at least cool. If you prefer Torchlight 2 though then if you ever get Dungeon Defenders I'll be willing to join in. I got the game and all the DLC from a humble bundle a while ago.

Uhhhh.... since when is a random DayZ ripoff a sandbox game that can run on lower quality computers with RPG elements included?

I am not getting that game. It is basically a pay 2 win thing, with tons and tons of microtransactions. If you want to rip me off by suggesting that game you might as well sit in a dirt hole and drink a juice box, because I go nowhere near those people.

I am actually quite fond of juice boxes, and I said that because I think someone that wants so much out of a game as you would need something to lower their expectations. I doubt you are going to find a "sci-fi rpg co-op game that is a sandbox game that will run on a bad PC. So you can good luck finding something like that

If we cut out the sci-fi then quite a lot of games fit that. Even with the sci-fi a lot of FUTURE games will fit that such as Starforge if it includes a level system or something.

First off, it says WANTS/needs. I do not NEED a sci-fi game. But also, most rpgs are co-op and open world/sandbox. Also, my computer is not bad, it is just not made for gaming.
Conclusion: There are plenty of games that fit my wants/needs.

Ok, then ArmA I recommend because then you can play things like DayZRP, which I highly enjoy playing as long as you don't run into pricks who randomly kill people to get banned

If I get a better build your own PC thanks to the help of Doctapper, Destiny might be a good option. If there was a borderlands 2 demo I would instantly see if it would work well on my computer, because I own it on the Xbox as well as the most overpowered gun in the game. (Confrence call, shoots from all directions.

Actually, ArmA is pretty easy to run, I payed $530 for my laptop (dell inspiron 15r) and I run ArmA 2 at 40-30 fps on lowest settings, and it still looks good. And my laptop is two years old (one of the first to have Ivy Bridge CPUs)

In which you are assuming I have payed more or at least the same amount for my computer?

Are either of those able to run on lower spec'd computers? Because that was one of the requirements.

I'm just saying, I didn't pay much for my PC, and it runs ArmA 2 fine
