Unless Rockstar have hired a whole new team of competent programmers and can actually prove they know how to make a proper videogame, then and only then will I consider getting it. GTA IV had so many flaws that have been evident in GTA games since forever, like bad, unpredictable camera angles that made movement lousy, and awful, awful multiplayer implementation that was hacked by all and sundry. Honestly I've never seen anything like it on a closed platform like a console. If Rockstar can't get this right with GTA 5, then I won't be buying it at all.
Tbh, a game of that scale and ambition should be expected to have minor glitches like that. Sometimes they got annoying but they didn't detract from the experience at all.
Also, the multiplayer in GTAV is supposed to be much, much better. They're releasing more info about it in the coming weeks.
Absolutely getting it. I had GTA3, GTA:VC, and GTA:SA on PC, but I switched to XBOX360 when GTA:IV came out. Even though I prefer PC gaming with a mouse and keyboard overall, the pressure sensitive triggers and thumb sticks of an XBOX controller make walking around and driving so much better than what you can do with WASD.
It looks like GTA:V is going to bring back all the things I've missed from past GTA games, so it will be the best yet. GTA:IV had great physics but was missing the customization options and large world from GTA:SA and the property buying from GTA:VC.
If not this might change your mind.
Just get it on PS3 or 360.. it will probably be better on them anyway lol.
It's going to take Rockstar a year or so to port it to PC and I doubt it'll be on par with the console versions. So yeah, console wins this one.
No. A great part of GTA 4 was mods. I'm not playing it on the inferior platform that doesn't have mods.
GTA4 was a really bad port.
That it was. But mods did help make up for it. A good port of GTA V with mods? That would be amazing.
I used to love the original GTA, and GTA2. Haven't really played anything beyond that. The game certainly has changed since I last knew it.

LOL
Meh, I only bought GTA 3 for PC and Liberty Cities for PSP and GTA 4 for PC
Gta 5 looks sick! I suggest buying it if you have enough money!
Cats.
