Hm... will most likely wait.
Kinda disappointed that they keep using the same three types as starters, though...
Because theyre the only 3 types with an equal triangle like effect.
Anyways im kinda disapointed. Im happy the starters are better than last gens (snivy being the only one I really liked), but the graphics...If they're going 3d...it should have be much better. Although Im curious about the obvious genetics motive going on here.
I swear, if Fennekin is going to evolve to be Fire/Fighting, I'm gonna lose my marbles. Though it doesn't look like it.
I'm gonna guess the types of the starters. I'm thinking Chespin will be Grass/Dark, Fennekin will be Fire/Psychic, and Froakie will be either Water/Fighting or Water/Ice.
And I'm glad the main legendaries aren't dragons for once. I honestly think the game looks great so far, and maybe we'll get some more varied platforming.

Super Hostile maps I've completed: Spellbound Caves (Yeah, I pretty much suck.)
Ugh. I felt black and white made some weird pokemon, but I could have played it. But this....This is just hard for me to watch. Come on gamefreak, wai U nu give me glistening ruby and shining sapphire? Or gleaming emerald, for that matter.
Gamers are stupid consumerist whores who buy carbon copied games because they're safe and familiar. Hence, franchise abuse. It's been that way since the days of Atari, so lets not even pretend to be surprised anymore.

We play games because they're fun. What makes a game fun? It depends on what the individual is looking for. Gamers who buy from familiar franchises do so because they want more of what they enjoyed in previous games. It doesn't make them dumb, it just shows that they want something you find has gotten bland.
I want to say there are games for everyone, those who want the familiar and those who want something new, but most gamers want a little bit of both. So, it's not fair to make such a divide.
Anyway, I hate the artistic direction Pokemon has gone. I feel like the style has changed and become more... I can't place my finger on it. Look at 1st generation Pokemon. Pokemon often looked feral, and the designs used on them were usually pretty natural looking. Today, Pokemon look less feral and they look more like plush toys than they do something you would find in the wild.
Every time I find something I hate about new generation Pokemon, I find 1st generation Pokemon that have the same flaws. I wish I could place my finger on why the new art style bugs me, I wish I could explain it.
So, as you can guess, I don't really care about the announcement of these two new games.

Well, unlike with those games, at least Pokemon is, mind the pun, evolving every time a new one is released. As for the only slight differences between X and Y, there's always a choice there. Take Black Forest and White City, for example, in Black and White. Not to mention the Pokemon you can find differ too. It's sort of a "Which do you think you'd rather get?" for these.

They won't make an Emerald remake because they didn't make a Pokemon Crystal re-make. They'll release a Ruby and Sapphire with some of the features from emerald and some of the new stuff from the new generation -- IF they remake it at all. Remaking a Gen. 3 game doesn't seem worth it, really.
Yeah. Millions upon millions of copies sold is really bad for Gamefreak. They'll go under before this game even comes out.
Finally someone who understands! Game Freak should've added guns a long time ago, all good games need guns . Also it should've been rated M with lots of blood, not dumb kiddy stuff. Oh well, I suppose the sales speak for themselves...

We should petition for Game Freak to release Call of Pokemon: Modern Battle 2.

Oh yeah, treecko! use bullet seed, whips out a machine gun. Hit 100 times.
I thought they were going to announce a R/S/E remake or something, but this was unexpected for me. I love the starters (especially the grass one), and the graphics/special effects are an improvement for a pokemon game. I skipped out on Black 2/white 2 because It was pretty much the same thing as B/W, but since it's a new game, I'm looking forward to the changes that it will bring.
And it's about time they released a regular pokemon game for the 3DS.
Well, I joined Pokemon in Gen 3, and it was my first game that I owned. I don't know why, but I buy the Pokemon games every year. I bought a Wii U, and 3ds at there launch dates hoping for a 3D Pokemon. I for one thought they should have gone with a 3D remake, because Emerald is one of the best Pokemon games ever! They should eventually stop with the new gen thing, and add 2+ regions to games it helped give Gold, and Silver more longevity, and it was cool. Hopefully it turns out fine.
It'll be interesting to see how this next generation goes. I'll definitely pick it up; I've been playing Pokemon since they released in the US when I was 10 (back in 1998). Of course I hope we'll be able to easily access the older Pokemon as well (they're in the video, but I can't tell if that's just to hide the newer Pokemon). And it looks like this time the region is Europe/France (looks like Eiffel Tower when it zooms out after Pikachu's Pika-ing).
I'd like to see some changes though; like EV training, natures, etc. I appreciate the ability to adjust a Pokemon's stats, but it's such a chore (a very time consuming one) to get just one Pokemon to have all the different things you want. If there was some more simple method, I'm sure many more people would legitimately raise competitive teams in their games (rather than editing Pokemon on a computer). Hopefully we'll have more freedom in our character creation as well. Maybe I'm too old for Pokemon, but I've been playing as a 10-year-old for like 15 years now, lol. If I'm stuck as a 10-year-old, can I at least pick my hair style and clothes?
And more than tons new Pokemon, I'd like to see some old Pokemon given new strengths to make them much more viable options as Pokemon, like Ninetales saw with Drought as a Dream World ability, and Growlithe's moves being learned at earlier levels to make it more viable in B2/W2.
I also really liked the idea of Challenge mode in B2. I hope to see that again as well, and maybe even more challenging.

Though I wouldn't of minded a Hoenn Game with this gameplay...
I know.

I would pay money to shoot all 151 of the original Pokemon with guns. Big Guns.
Only the originals, because I'm a gaming hipster. All of the other Pokemon aren't even worth killing, it's a waste of imaginary ammo.
