Hello! I, like many other people in this world, dont have enough money to buy a higher powered labtop. When my dad gave me his iBook G4, I didnt know what to do with it. If anyone can recommend me some games I can play on it (I mostly like FPS and RPG games), thatwould be highly appreciated. P.S. I have purchased a ridiculous amount of RAM for this computer, so space is no problem.

Wait! What?! RAM is not a storage device. That would be the hard drive and just because you have more RAM does not mean you can run a game better. Sure, it's true in some instances, but for the most part, it's not a big deal.

I understand that, but certain games take up a lot of RAM (like Minecraft) to run better,
Seriously, this guy has a freaking PowerPC iBook for Christ's sake! There's no way in hell that thing can run anything today, let alone Minecraft. The computer is too old (they stopped making them in 2006), the architecture is not supported at all (PowerPC), and the system cannot run any OS X version newer than Leopard.

I swear to you, I have a running version of Minecraft on my Ibook G4. BTW this is not my main gaming computer, I use this mostly for Facebook.

Sorry for reviving an old topic but what you said was false, some older mac machines are obsolete. My Dual Processor 2.3 GHz Powermac G5 is doing really well in today's standard. That is a computer made in early 2005 I am running and I can still play minecraft at smooth speeds without optifine installed. I can run youtube at 720p without a problem. Lets not forget I only have 1 GB of ram right now. Just because it has the word "Power" in front of it doesn't mean it is obsolete, this machine is faster than my 2010 laptop even running windows 8 which was faster than 7. But OP I have found an amazing website to finding games, it has freeware and if it is paid you get a demo of it to try out and I actually found a very decent game that was made recently and runs flawlessly on my G5. Though the ibook wasn't designed to be able to play that big of games. If you are tight on money buy a powerbook g4, from what I hear it runs minecraft smoothly and you get a faster processor than the ibook does. Here is the link Free Mac software download

I'm shootin' lasers. . Pew pew pew. . .

Actually, Minecraft runs better with less RAM.
You'll have a hard time finding any game that uses more than 4 GB of RAM.
