honestly, I need to see some HUGE changes in order to buy this...after all, I made a vow to not buy a new pokemon game until I've completed my pokedex...I'm at about 421 filled entries now.
New trailer=Bunch of flashy crap. They honestly changed the gyms? If they did, they had better give me my Dark-type gym now. And there's a special code thing right to the left of the font changer, there's an option for media there.
BRING BACK SECRET BASES JUST LIKE THE ONES FROM THE HOENN REGION FROM RUBY/SAPPHIRE/EMERALD please.
Hope fully they will do both (can't believe they added another water gym >: ( ) But I asked them (I hate you so much gamefreak) to bring back the pokemon follow sprites from HS and SS and all I got was an automated Email. (You morons! Who did you replace for this stupid genaric diver?!)

Really? So they decided to have the two be all and end all legendarys get fused with the giant space chicken? Oh well. I agree that a multi-region game would be fun, but if they don't handle it right there would be shitstorm aplenty...

Personally, I want to see both a new Mystery Dungeon and a Hoenn remake, but the last Mystery Dungeon games(I think they were for WiiWare?) weren't released outside of Japan, so I'm not exactly optimistic about that...
Because there's a reason it won't happen?
Kanto and Johto got remakes. It was probably to introduce the regions to the DS line, but still, R/S/E is a defunct generation that stopped production ages ago. It does need to be introduced into the current-gen market.
Also it's about time for the 10th anniversary of the release of R/S/E to occur, which is a great time to make remakes for it.
Plus, Hoenn has got a lot of love from people, so it's not like it would have insufficient sales.
I'd want to try to play other Pokémon games other than only Emerald before I think about playing B/W, but I'm not sure
I'd suggest playing SoulSilver or HeartGold (that way you get to play both the Johto and Kanto regions, and you get to play around with two full generations of Pokemon) then play Platinum. Platinum has so much content; it's almost overwhelming.

Those would be awesome names, but Gamefreak is too unoriginal to think of Aero Emerald. They might think of the other two though.

Yes but those stared the stupid toy/oragami pokemon.

Just so you know, SS and HG versions ARE NOT a substitute for FR/LG. They have different stories, areas and SS and HG are missing the Sevi Islands!

Haha! You don't know who you're correcting, obviously. Of course I know that the Kanto experience in the two games is different, but if you're just trying to gain more perspective in the Pokemon world, HG/SS provide more than FR/LG do. I love FR/LG, but I recommend HG/SS to new players because it has more content, and is easier to procure.

Sure, but they are not the same. In other words, thumbs up for another R/B/G/Y remake!

They're definitely going to do that for the Ruby/Sapphire remakes, because if they don't...
I should get either that or Black/White 1 for my birthday

Maybe they could be called Marine Sapphire, Lava Ruby, and Aero Emerald?
I dunno, I just want to see Hoenn in B/W graphics. The 3D overworld and all that good stuff.
THEN BE PATIEINTASFMUIOSNFSUIDMOFSDNGUINioASDNGING(JNASDGUNAGISDD:<SA:D<AS<D<:DAS<DATGEA
B/W v2 will come out around this Fall and I doubt Game Freak will work on other Pokémon games until that one is done and out.
Then we wait 3 months for another announced Pokémon game only to find out it's not a Hoenn remake.
>:L
It will be another mystery dungeon!
"HEY GUYS, SO WE HERD U LIEK HOENN, SO HERE'S A MYSTERY DUNGEON GAME THAT TAKES PLACE NOWHERE NEAR HOENN"

Sounds like a plan.
