My mind just in 10 seconds made the basic storyline for a terrible fanfiction
Which will probably last for 10 minutes more at the most before dissapearing, never to be seen again.
Very few of my minds fanfictions actually stay in my memory, and all of those have ended up forming different OCs.
Such as Nightshade(the dark mist one)who was originally a changeling queen but then ended up becoming a goddess of fear.
Inferno was early on, at a time when I thought Twilight Sparkle was best pony. Also I shipped Twilight and Rainbow Dash(or was it Fluttershy?).
Then there was the dragon Apple Bloom, who turned up at a time when I shipped Apple Bloom and Scootaloo, or Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle.
My demon self turned up more recently, and Shadowmist turned up even recentlier.
Others are from Everquest(Overlord Mata Muram, Emperor Ssraeshza, The Awakened)and the whole shards of fear thing was from there as well.
Then theres other assorted random OCs.

For me it works differently. I get a plot concept, and it proceeds to haunt me for eternity.
Problem is, when I write them, I lose motivation. And none of these are one-shot stories, mind you.
I have one plot concept. It involves using an old OC of mine that's based on the TF2 Pyro(and might be considered a rip-off by the higher-up users), AND he's an alicorn, so that makes him vulnerable to becomming a Mary Sue.
Fortunately, instead of making him all-perfect and invincible, I gave him some key weaknesses: He's at around late-teenager period - i.e. 16 or 17 in human age, so he's alterady not physically strong. Due to his young age, his magic is also somewhat uncontrollable - if he starts using his fire magic, he might not be able to stop using it and will uncontrollably spew it at maximum power, causing all sorts of danger. He also cannot fly very well, and cannot fly and attack at the same time; either he attacks without fleeing, or he flees without attacking.
I send a Blind Dreamer to fight that derpy weeping angel.
I don't think she's harmful. At least I think. I can be wrong. Besides, Weeping Angels make angry faces when they attack, don't they? And they kill you in a split second instead of screaming at you like she's doing.
Also, if you haven't recieved the notification - or don't use them, then I'm just letting you know that I replied to your previous post - I hadn't before because you have ninja'd me.
Its definitely something that can scar people.

Internet :
Depending on which one it was sometimes a dragon which turned them into lizards, sometimes a lizardman and sometimes Nightshade.
