I see that Airsoft has been advertising the Echo1 Minigun quite a lot, as in... everywhere.. Honestly I think that it is pretty extreme and awesome for an Airsoft, it costs $4,449.95
Of course, that is a reasonable price. Here are it's stats:
Product Description:
This product comes with an ORANGE tip.
Battery and Charger NOT included.
History: The minigun is a multi-barrel machine gun with a high rate of fire (several thousand rounds per minute), employing Gatling-style rotating barrels and an external power source. In popular culture, the term "minigun" has come to refer to any externally-powered Gatling gun of rifle caliber, though the term is sometimes used to refer to guns of similar rates of fire and configuration, regardless of power source and caliber. Specifically, minigun refers to a single weapon, originally produced by General Electric. The "mini" of the name is in comparison to designs that use a similar firing mechanism but 20 mm or larger shells, such as General Electric's earlier M61 Vulcan.

I will be able to get it, but is it worth it? Just curious. Also, for any Airsoft users.. What kind of equiptment, Guns, Combat Gear, etc. Would be suggested to use along with the Echo1 Minigun?
Depends on your Nerf role. If you're one of the main combatants, it may be worth buying one, but small-time assassin types are better off using a slightly less "awesome" gun. I for one like to go with a 6-shot nerf pistol and some form of improvised shield.

Lolwut? I think you're a few steps of the mark here, brother.
Who cares. The two things are so related, there's basically no difference.
/Faceplam , Someone give me strength..
OT: having that minigun in a Airsoft battle would be cool but it is nothing more than a novelty piece in my opinion. It can't be fired accurately, chews ammo (not really sure about it's rpm though)and takes up to much space. It would only be useful in certain situations like suppressing or cover fire but even then, you would be an easy and priority target.
I'd rather that a PDW or AR over that big barrel any day.

Absolute nerf. I've nerfed over 700 enemy Nerf insurgents, so I don't want to hear you nerfing what I just nerfed.

I didn't know getting hit with a plastic pellet was as harmless as getting hit with a Nerf dart.
A minigun? I would kill for one. Get it.
A Nerf dart fired by a master Nerfer can kill thousands of men. Legend says that a clumsy Nerfer accidentally shot his Nerf gun at the ground, causing the continents to break apart.

I just realized that the page says it comes with an orange tip, not making any reference to the 5 other barrels, and whether or not they come with an orange tip. I wouldn't even consider purchasing such a dangerous piece of equipment.

There is no way I would spend almost $5,000 for a toy! Hell, that's almost a fifth of what my car is worth!

This is not this:
Nerf darts also fly significantly slower (27 FPS compared to upwards of 450 FPS) and are far less dangerous. They are not the same.
