Ya'know, I haven't heard anything this intelligent on MInecraft. But I think having one giant off-topic thread group would be so much better, so it would have such a large audience everyone could contribute without being left out. Say if I had something to say on a music topic, but wasn't interested in changing my forum location. I would never see it.

Then we'd be choking it in added weight of music threads ar album-based threads. Generalized music threads would most likely be filled so much that no one would be get a chance to really discuss anything since people are just bounding in with their own thoughts and leaving. Setting aside its own forum that would allow for niche threads would assure certain longevity for that thread granted it panders to a certain audience. Where as in a generalized forum with it all clumped into it would entail that these niche threads would swallow every other topic.

I'm also sure no one around these parts would like to see the half-dozen Pokemon RPs of the place I call my citadel to choke the board. Those aggravate a lot of people as they stand already.

You misunderstood, but got my point in misunderstanding, if that makes sense. We all miss out on a lot if we stay in General Off-Topic.

I poke my head into all the other sections enough to catch what amuses me and visit those sections that interest me. I'm not going to be visiting the computer section since I don't do coding.
