Do you act out? Meaning, do you do "bad things" I suppose. Rebellious ****, I guess. Y'know, sneaking out, drinking underaged, whatever.
I personally don't, or at least not often. Which disappoints me.
You might say "Why are you disappointed that you're a good kid?"... let's face it. I'm a teenager, and what group of people are expected to act like asshats? Teenagers. And I'm sitting around getting good grades and surfing the freakin' internet or something. I should take advantage of this period of my life where it's entirely expected to act like a complete dumbass. The only other time acting like a dumbass is expected is when you're old, but at that point, it's not as fun.
I'm not saying I want to go out and get high all the time or steal cars or some ****; but by the time I leave college, I want something story-worthy. Something stupid that I did that I'll remember for the rest of my life. I don't want to grow up, and tell my kids shitty stories about how I surfed the internet or something.
My grandpa for example, told me a story about how him and his friends would take a block of ice, shave off pieces of it, pack them into snowballs, and throw snowballs at passing cars in the middle of summer.
Or how him and his friends used to swordfight on top of billboards (not the really high up ones, but still pretty high up)
Or how my dad made up a ******** story about how he is allergic to chlorine and told it to the counselor when he almost didn't graduate for not having a swimming class.
I don't know. I just feel like I'm doing it all too boring, haha. I have the rest of my life to be bored shitless or mature about things.
Well, I may have gotten a bit off of the point there, but, do you act out? If so, tell some stories, I wanna hear.
Besides getting a detention at school (not my fault, it was self defense because someone was trying to beat me up), I have never "acted out", so to speak. I don't see any reason why I should either. Yes, no alcohol for me.

I don't feel like putting anything witty here, sorry.

I would say that I "Act out" Too much. Alcohol (Don't really like it though, only Vodka, that, I like) Drugs (Yeah, kids do those things these days, only marijuana, LSD and some pills). And let me tell you, after some time, it just gets boring. Here in Russia is normal, and from seeing news and that, it's pretty normal all over the world. If you're happy with who you are and with what you do daily, it's fine. If not, you could try a new sport, do something new like learning to play an instrument, I don't know.
I didn't. Only thing I did as a kid was that I tried to spike people tiers to help my father get more money. (Gas Station/Repair Shop owner.)
Otherwise I was a very dull teenager. At parties I was the "House Lord". The sober guy to keep the others in line and so the cops had someone to talk to when/if they showed up. I don't drink much. I think my class mates individually consumed more alcohol than I will in my entire lifetime in a mere three years.
I didn't do anything terribly stupid as a teenager, but I certainly did get into a lot of trouble. I wasn't "acting out", I was simply not conforming to the often authoritarian rules around me. In fact, I was that way from childhood. A few examples:
- I had no concern for private property. To me, trespassing wasn't a crime, it was an adventure. I lived next to a lot of farms, and I'd often go onto the land and explore, go swimming in watering holes, or visit the barns. One time, a friend and I got caught just as we were saddling up a horse to ride around for a bit. My friend wanted to hide in a pile of hay, but I didn't want to get stabbed, and convinced him to just accept that we were caught. The farmer was furious, but when he reached for his handgun, he realized that he had forgotten it. Instead, he made us give him our phone numbers. Obviously we gave him fake ones. We never went back to that place, fearing getting shot.
- Not long after, we were caught in another farm's watering hole swimming around. Apparently the owners weren't happy with a couple of teenagers on their property, and they got our their dogs and chased us with shotguns. I'm pretty sure they were just shooting into the air to scare us away, but the dogs didn't seem to know that.
- I once had a police officer pull me out of class. I was supposed to be suspended for a week for skipping a Saturday detention, and I was skipping the in school suspension. I got the Saturday detention for skipping a "principal detention", which I got for skipping a normal detention, which I got for not turning in a homework assignment. Crazy. I later got a week of in school suspension for getting caught by a police on the roof of a neighboring high school. I was so mad about both of them that I joined DECA to cost the school several thousand dollars as I rented movies, bath robes, and other luxuries while out for competitions. In the end, they paid for it.
- The administrators didn't know it, but I had their entire computer network under my thumb. I had hidden emulators and ROMs on their serves for anyone to play while they were at school. The library was full of people playing Mega Man X and Chrono Trigger, and even their network admin couldn't figure out why. They didn't really know what they were doing. Once, a friend and I set all the computers in the library to play Hamsterdance (the original one) at max volume all at once. We took pictures of the reaction. Though I had access to their grading system, I never did anything with it. I wasn't a bad kid, just a playful one. Before graduating, I left a message in the network administrator's private folder detailing how their system was hacked. I had my fun and I didn't want to see the next generation of losers do something that was actually malicious.

You must have been one smart playful hacker.
I have never 'acted out', which makes my life kinda boring :|.

I don't do anything "rebellious" just for the sake of it, nor do I be good if there is no reason to. I do things which seem logical to me. Sometimes that includes rebelling against stupid authoritarian rules, sometimes it means I follow them. And I like the position I'm in. I'd never do anything idiotic like smoke, drink underage, get myself into a dangerous situation, because I am in full control of myself, and there is no reason to do such stupid things.
I'm not a rebel, people give me flak for that but I don't care. If someone doesn't think you are cool because you don't do things as "cool" as them, tell them they need a reality check, if you're constantly doing things illegal it will land you up in jail.
