Hey buddy, this post got my eyes wet. I think I can help. There's something called Binaural Rythms that are essentially a different tone played in each ear. Your brain gets confused and sees it as a beat or wave rather than a pair of tones. With this, you can induce sleep. More specifically, dreamless sleep, lucid dreams, or dreamless sleep, at different frequencies. By inducing dreamless sleep, you won't have to tell her you don't exist anymore. The obvious downside, however, is not seeing her...
I'm sorry, you're an unlucky man, but there are ways to deal with this, and things like this make you stronger.
The frequencies for inducing dreamless sleep are low delta frequencies (~0.5Hz to 3Hz or so). Google Binaural beats, or look for a video for delta binaural waves. Also, there's an app called Brain Wave that's 2 bucks and has a 'dreamless sleep' option. Look into this, it'll help you not be tortured by these dreams if you're willing to give them up. Do whatever will make you happiest.
*wipes tears off of face*That...that was beautiful.
Anyway,I had a dream that I was a sasquatch hunter (I watch shows like Monster Quest a lot).Well,I was at my uncle's house and I looked outside the window and saw a Bigfoot on my great-grandmother's property (technically it was nobodies cause she's been long gone now).I said "Now's my chance!".I ran outside with some net to capture it.As soon as I got about 10 feet from it,Bigfoot turned around, looked at me (his eyes were red, which was friggin' scary as ever)and did a LARGE dive at me.Before I could start to run he had caught me.
I instantly woke up hugging my pillow for dear life.
That is really sad, though if you're distraught at the fact of losing someone you love in a dream, maybe you should try and find a girl you love in reality, that way you could always be with her.

But of course, they couldn't have the ability to fly and other stuff...****!

Dreamless sleep? that sounds...biologically bad for you. i wouldent risk it, i think.
One question: While you were selling sea shells, were you at the sea shore?
Sorry. As soon as you said "Selling sea shells" in your post I thought of the rhyme.

"That's a lot of ninjas."
"Certainly more than the regular amount of ninjas."
Oh my. This is actually pretty coincidental, because a few weeks ago, I had the mostemotionally-crippling dream in my life so far. I won't go into too much detail since the dream was so emotionally-crippling that I can't even go into that kind of detail, but the dream revolved around myself and a person I have fallen in love with. That may sound cheesy to say "fallen in love with"... but eh.
I've had a cool dream before, that I was in China fighting a war, it was amazing, but right on the part when the commander guy or something walks into the place, I woke up. I know how you feel, it sucks to wake up from awesome dreams.
"Also, all of my dreams are lucid." -Deus_of_Somnium
1. I'm pretty sure not that many people know what that means
2. I've never been lucid before, but I'm a realist. The adverage person has about 100 minutes of REM [the stage of sleep you dream in] sleep a night. So how could you have ALL THAT happen in an hour and a half? Not to say you didn't have this dream or anything, but the numbers don't add up.
But I have to say this, I have never chanced upon someone to bring up the topic of lucid dreaming.
I remember once when I was younger I had weird dream, I totally forgot about it now that I'm older. But I DO remember that as I grew up this same dream kept re-occurring to me. The most recent time I've had this dream was about 5-6 months ago, quite strange.
